Gee I wonder whyashling wrote:Maybe those people leaving didn't appricated the implication that they were only leaving because they don't want to pay for their account.

And yeah, you got me, my big mouth and combatative attitude clearly make me a prime choice for customer service.

Re: CSR stylin
I couldn't give a monkeys who is and who isn't. If anything though you would think that the former CSRs would be in a better position to judge about what's going on. Given GF seem to allowing anyone to apply and that Jolt have seemingly released people they could try to continue as volounteers. So ...

IC Exodus
The lands move inexorably to war under the banner of religious hatred and their petty squabbling over their green, crystalline drug. While Matis marches to war under the penant of the Karavan the leaders do nothing but sit idly by while their borders are eroded. As the practical reasons for war fade ...

Re: I cants stands no more.
Simple facts about what happened To be fair at the time the game wasn't suited for those sorts of players. That it has morphed into something that will more suit those players is part of the reason I'm going along with the loss of Jolt and the event staff, Phelan's answers (or lack thereof) in the ...

Re: I cants stands no more.
To answer the accusations of jumping ship... You can only push a boulder uphill for so long before it gets to be so much effort it is no longer worth it. In the past it felt like enough of the community, and the CSRs, were pushing in the same direction and helping with the rock. Not any more. Anyway ...

German is the new French.
I think that may be why we're seeing a little defensiveness. Maybe the next owner will be British

Re: I cants stands no more.
kinda amusing that all you say boils down to "i don't like pvp". :) if you'd actually take the time, read through what phelan said and consider REALITY, you might realize that never before have we gotten so sensible and honest communication from above. anyhow, it was long time you go look for ...

I cants stands no more.
Getting rid of Jolt is pretty much the final nail in the coffin with Phelan's IRC chat answers, or lack thereof, being the first clod of earth being shoveled down on top. The CSRs and the state of the community are symbiotic and are the two things that Ryzom consistently had head and shoulders above ...

Re: Erm... distressing?
This is a false economy.
Ryzom rests upon its community and its CSR support - the things you can rely o when other things don't work. These two are inexorably linked, removing the CSRs removes one pillar completely and severely damages the other. Then you have no game left to speak of.
