I have been trying out the different races in game and was wondering about a few things. If i don't take melee(fighting) as a starter pack, can i get it later by giving up harvesting/crafting points? I have noticed that with two of the races i am unable to trade in harvesting points for basic melee ...

I keep reading that you shouldn't leave the newbie island until you are at least level 30. Sorry about the noob question, but how do you get to level 30 on newbie island?
