People just got too used to having things easy. Now that it is close to what it was suppose to be (well a little more difficult than it should be), everyone started to talk about how bad the patch is. There should not be lvl 200+ people in this game after what a month of release. People had it too ...

They only tend to change areas that you are not currently in. For example if you are in matis you do not need the tryker patch since it doesn't effect you. Though that means that you have to patch the game when you go in one of these lands.

Okay getting really restless here since I have to leave at 12pm and I want to see something maybe even a glimpse of the new effects (starts crying)

Try using Ryzom_Recover in the main game directory, it's a DOS program. When its done try re-downloading the patch and see what happens. I got and error that the patch couldn't be downloaded and when I did this it started downloading. So it might work for you as well. But I think it resets your game ...

Okay I got it to work, try this. Go to the main ryzom directory, find a .exe file named Ryzom_Recover click on it and then wait for it to finish doing what it wants to. After its done go back and you should be able to download the patch. It worked for me

Well it doesn't matter because amplifiers are related to your wisdom and not your strength. So you can have 100 strength and 50 wisodom that would not mean that you can use a Q110 amplifier, in this case you can only use Q60.
