I agree. I am mostly just making sure my current concept of how the game works is essentially correct. I don't want to make a snap choice if I only need to change a stanza, or use a different item. That sort of thing.

Has anyone else felt like they hit a wall?

I am nearing the over 50 mark in forage, melee, and melee crafting. I am noticing deep cuts in xp, success rates, and benefit in teaming up. So I am wondering if there is a slump in progression at this level? Does anybody have experience with effects on these things based on Item Quality v.s. Skill ...

Very Happy

I am noticing alot of performance improvement in the game.

I no longer stall at the load up screen, i log in everytime now on the first try.
LAG seems to be quite minimal.
Running around in town is no longer very choppy.

This is great!!

I was thinking: Why is this being brought up here, and since it was brought up here, where's the proof?

Obviously GM's would not, and should not handle any in-game decisions here in a public forum.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but I see no mention of the importance of Source Mode being discussed to reduce the likelyhood of explosion and gas, and reduce the damage CAUSED by explosion and gas. Nor that with gentle extraction/rate AND a stable source mode rarely does a source come close ...

There are far worse things that can happen among foragers, an explosion and death is pretty minor. If you know how to use source modes, this issue is not really a problem. You shouldn't be using a source mode that is going to blow heavy in the first place. If you aren't sure what I mean, you should ...

Source Mode 0=Pain
It has the most lethal clouds and explosions. Guaranteed!!
SM 1 is prime, fire and forget. Weak gas, and explosions.
I don't see any advantages in the other modes. I am not done testing them.
SM 4 seems ok, but I just go with SM 1
