Yar, if you haven't seen me lately.......
Haven't been able to play Ryzom at all recently...in about 4 weeks, but despite some hear say and rumors, I'm still a faithful Ryzom subscriber. RL has just been very crazy busy and all. I miss everyone and look forward to being able to jump on me mektoub and go tropping across Atys real soon. LoL ...

Re: Blue screen.
Based on that info and on some research I did here and around the web, it seems that your Ryzom client data may be corrupted. What you need to do is open your Ryzom client but don't log in, click on CHECK DATA and see if it uncovers any problems with any of the data. Whether it does or not, I would ...

Re: Blue screen.
Try this: Go into your command prompt and run sfc.exe like so: START -> RUN -> sfc.exe . If you get an error message, copy and paste that here. Then we can go from there and see about fixing your problem. If you don't get an error message, then go to Control Panel --> Adminstrative Tools -> Event ...

Re: Display Error
"Cannot create a Window Display 1024 x 768 32bits" is the error message I get upon trying to play Ryzom for the first time. If someone could point me in the direction of how to fix this, I'd be thankful. Without knowing your system specs, I would just be guessing at what the problem is. If you ...

Aye. I enjoyed playing Daggerfall and Morrowind, but after getting into mmorpgs, as great as those rpgs are, they can't replace the "multiplayer" side of things nor the rp side either no matter how hard they try, especially when you are fortunate enough to have a great community like we do here at ...

Re: Is Foraging "Fun"?
For me, foraging is only fun when I do it with someone else :) Aye, I don't like foraging by my lonesome self, and by that, I mean with no one to talk too. I usually won't dig if no one is on to chat with, and if there isn't, and I'm wanting to dig, I usually bug the poor souls in the area and ...

Re: Mektoub names
My mount's name is Metilda, and me and her have been through some pretty hair raising adventures traveling from one end of Atys to the other. Metilda is my drinking buddy too as we both share an affinity for firewine. If you ever run into us or see her grazing in the fields, just give her a swig and ...

Nah, dazman. I didn't think your post was confrontational at all, but a well thought out one it was. Man, sorry to hear you cancelled your sub. Hope you return to us sometime in the near future, and I will miss seeing you around here. madnak, that is a very interesting point of view and way to look ...
