Re: Starting an RP-only guild
Allow me to provide some more backstory, namely the dilemma that I am trying to address with this scheme of mine. I had sought an RP guild on my own because again, I have scant little time for administrative efforts. When I did look around, I did not find quite what I was looking for. The list of ...

Re: Character name advice
I like this generator . Seems to generate alot of good names. YES! That is the one that I use. I took the time to learn how to use the 'advanced interface' and got some impressive results. Someone requested a list of potential names, and I happen to have a list of names I generated for Ryzom ...

Re: Can I convert 'lightness' attribute to weight of a finished item?
Indeed. I also tend to ignore the 'lightness' trait. I cannot help but wonder what other item characteristics are affected by the 'lightness' score; speed perhaps? For the moment, here are my findings regarding lightness in Majik Amplifiers. At the moment the study is incomplete, but work at this ...

Re: Starting an RP-only guild
You say you haven't found any RP guilds. Isn't Evolution a Kami-oriented guild? I believe that there may also be sometimes-RP guilds that are Karavan-oriented. Given that there are few enough RP players, I wanted to maximize the potential membership by being religion-neutral. That leaves the way ...

Starting an RP-only guild
Fellow Homins, I have been looking for an RP guild for some time now. I am constantly rebuffing recruitment attempts from other guilds (apparently not having a guild means I am some poor waif) because they do not offer what I want in a guild. I would have founded an RP-only guild months ago, except ...

Re: Mat stats explanation
Those who have to buy their armor should also specify a durability range. Durability is the number of 'hit points' that the armor has and reflects how quickly the armor will wear out. Most people intend to gain levels and be capable of wearing a higher quality armor relatively quickly, so they aren ...

Re: Can I convert 'lightness' attribute to weight of a finished item?
Yes, thats pretty much the answer that I expected. Soooooooooooo..... I'll figure it out. The first step will be to craft some items with a lightness score of zero. That means Basic mats - yubo skin, oath bar, Kipee mandible, Gingo claw, patee wood node, some of the amber types, etc. At the moment ...

Re: Greetings! A few questions for the veterans
One thing im struggling with is the movement in Ryzom. I'm used to the standard WASD keys. Any suggestions on a good keymap? Also, I've fiddled around with keys so much, I don't see any options to reset it back to normal. The only solution I see is to delete the character and start over again. :mad ...

Can I convert 'lightness' attribute to weight of a finished item?
Recently I set to clearing my inventory of miscellaneous mid-grade materials by making swords. While I was at it (odd how often a problem starts out with something like 'since I was there anyway....') I decided to use the good mats to make some better swords to sell, as well as a special one for ...

Re: The economy IS broken: Suggestions / Reasons?
So... What you're saying is that the problem is among high level characters, both in manufacturing shortfall and in procurement of resources of adequate q leading to said shortfall? I don't honestly see how an influx of level 20 players will solve this. (Yay, Windermeer's open again!) If it is the ...
