Ok, Have minimum files from u.R.D.M.

How do you start the game now? When I click on the Ryzom icon on desktop it takes me to the launcher which in turn goes right back to the original downloader.

Works like a charm here, could it be a problem with your network settings/firewall/router then? Or wrong entries in your hosts file? You could also try changing http:// dl1 .gfsrv.net to http:// dl2 .gfsrv.net in either of the above links. umm.....its all greek to me. Don't think I have a firewall ...

Help noob wants to play! I am not very computer literate so bear with me :) Downloaded client through the help section (dl'er does not want to work, it just sits at 0% forever then freezes up.) Now what? Clicking the Ryzom shortcut button on desktop just brings up the dl'er again.....which of course ...
