I am not on vista i do not have a firewall and i have deleted the save files but the game still gets stuck when loading and just sits their. Could you supply us with more information please. stuck where? after character selection? before? as soon as you click ryzom icon? is there an error message ...

A few items to check and further information required: Have you released/renewed your ip? (some routers do not fully apply dmz until ip has been renewed) Also try disabling sound, HW mouse, and set to windowed mode. Are you on wireless connection? Could you try hardwire direct to cable/dsl modem ...

Sounds like some type of network problem possibly.

Take a look at some of the different topics in this thread to try and help eliminate your problem.

Also take a look at the Vista set-up guide. following one of the 2 steps will help eliminate the possibility of Vista security causing your problems.

I downloaded the client from the torrent supplied in the email, but, the client hangs at connecting. It never times out.
