Sigh...nope, back to 1024x768 now again. It overwrote the client.cfg file again. Not sure what causes this to happen, but it sure is annoying. The game runs fine in 1280x720 if you can just get it to stop overwriting the client.cfg file. Maybe I'll try marking it as readonly to see if that helps.

I'm actually not using Vista...was just pointing out that 1280x720 was standard on Vista. I'm using XP SP2. Also, not using windowed mode...I'm running in fullscreen. What kind of timescale are they talking for the patch? weeks? months?

No, 1280x720 is the standard 16:9 HDTV ratio. In fact, any game certified to run under Microsoft Vista is supposed to support this resolution.
