Re: TomsHardware Plugs Ryzom
Well the game was free to play only because there were legal issues preventing them from billing us... so it was more like a re-opening beta.

Re: Results of Linux Contest and Mektoubs Races
The situation is far from being as horrible as it seems... I've seen quite a few old faces return yesterday that haven't been seen for the longest time. And I can only hope that the ones who were going to unsub will now reconsider, since the rules have been clarified and will now be enforced as they ...

Re: Population?
For some people, it's the exact opposite, as I said. They like the quests in the island, then they reach the mainland and are lost and confused about what they are supposed to be doing. Most often, the "whatever you want" answer doesn't satisfy them entirely (and we have learned recently that ...

Re: Population?
Well, I did tell you that saying something "sucks" in Uni is the best way to get a bad start with the community. :p Bad impressions get you a long way, here. It's just as valid on the forums... some are overly reactive to that term and others similar. Iala, tone it down, will you ? We don't want to ...

Re: Results of Linux Contest and Mektoubs Races
I have remained quite on this issue until now, feeling it better to try and let this pass in hopes that the negative publicity of our "Great Community" would get hidden. But now as I continue to read, I see that it most likely will not until the Aris server is shut down due to lack of funding to ...

Re: Results of Linux Contest and Mektoubs Races
Well clicking each client individually to use a macro that is already in the game, that's alright and how it's supposed to be done as far as I know. Pressing a single key which sends a simultaneous command to ALL clients at once, however, requires the assistance of an external software that is not ...

Re: Results of Linux Contest and Mektoubs Races
So any software that it can make auto keying, or spreading keypresses into multibox is forbidden and will be dealt with by our team. So if CSR have conclusive evidence, or witness such activities all accounts concerned can be subject to sanctions This is exactly the problem that we have been ...

Re: Results of Linux Contest and Mektoubs Races
Only reason I stopped PvPing is that battles are always when I'm at work or at school. Your argument is invalid. I have PvPed before, and it was great fun. Now where is that fun gone ? Use as many alts as you can by controlling them manually, you used to be able to, did you forget how it's done ...

Re: Results of Linux Contest and Mektoubs Races
To summarize what I said above : yes to alts, no to 3rd party softwares to control them. I also said that using all those alts to help me level my pike didn't make the leveling more FUN for me... very highly efficient, sure, but taking all the challenge away from the plods makes them horribly boring ...

Re: Results of Linux Contest and Mektoubs Races
I don't mind the use of many alts. Just because I'm too clumsy to manage more than one character at a time doesn't mean I should ask others to refrain from doing so. Of course, I don't mind : if a person has the talent to manage two or more screens at once, good for them... Where I do see a problem ...
