Workable PvP, Can It Be Organized?
There has been endless discussion on PvP, but I haven’t seen one on how to get it going in a Community supported fashion. Lets face it, the Community is one of the biggest assets of this game, so lets protect it in the process. There a fair number of new players trying out the game that are i ...

Re: Mass Murderer or RPK?
For Ryzom to succeed, it needs a market niche broad enough to attract a sufficient number of players in order to be profitable. Hopefully, it can attract even more, so as to be a major success. To achieve this, the current direction of the game development is to include both PvP and non-PvP play ...

Re: Returning Player With A Question
Ive had good times in other games where the PvP combat was restricted to certain zones. These were good when they were a combination of skill, strategy, and good sportsmanship, especially so with a good team leader. I also know of the forms of PvP that are not so enjoyable. These I avoid. As far as ...

Re: Returning Player With A Question
I recognize the importance for being in a good guild. And, that guilds have made Faction choices of their own. If a player is of a different faction than his guild is that a problem? How does the individual player choice of Faction effect the guild interaction, and how does the guild Faction effect ...

Re: Returning Player With A Question
Hi Noin :) Good to hear a friendly voice. I've not seen old friends in game yet, but have been back only 1 day. Though I figure that there has been significant turn over during the many months that I was away. I tried to check the new OmegaV web site but it is mostly password protected. I see that ...

Re: Returning Player With A Question
Thanks for the help Kibsword. I went neutral and can buy the ticket in Fairhaven now.
As I can move about now without fear of running out of ticketes, its time to explore and refresh my memory.
Much appreciated,
Ort

Returning Player With A Question
Have returned to this game after being away for about 15 months. Im still refreshing my memory on the game procedures, what is located where, and how things work. It feels good to be back. I used to be able to buy teleporter tickets from both Karavan and Kami. I still have my reserve supply of ...

Re: Am Faced With An In Game Dilemma
I see the posts to this thread, and note the postions taken. Most of these are restatements, slightly reworded. The only major difference is the trend in these posts. However, I see no concern for abusive followup by members and copycats to the RP bigotry. I take note of the PvP related threads, to ...
