I couldnt get it to download yesterday all day, this morning i managed to dl it, at a guess id say its a server load/balancing issue, try downloading at quiet off peak times if you can, hope you guys have a little more luck

Ive had the same issue and havent had any reply yet from my administrator submission.

Is your hdd activity heavy all the way through loading? Should have a light on your case, usually orange or green that flickers....if its constantly on hard then try a defrag.

A mintue or two would be the norm on a system of that spec id say.

By running ryzom_recover and then starting the game and running check files your getting past the checksum problems anyway as files are redownloaded individually.

Your error looks more like a rendering issue, have you tried a different graphics driver?

Open it in winrar, extract everything manually apart from data11.cab, then follow the instructions i gave in this thread >> http://www.ryzom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27184

Go into your ryzom directory and run configure.bat,
Try the game in opengl, and then in direct3d modes instead of it being set to auto.
See if you have any success. It seems be a rendering problem.

data1.cab or data11.cab?
