is it me or do those kami sentinel npcs look an awful lot like the rat-monsters from the Bone-cartoons?

I left newbie island a month ago but I have yet to see some kind of red thread through all this. (okeh.. I used to play WoW at a very high level, and of course I get worried when I come from playing the largest mmorpg these days and to play Ryzom, which does seem tiny and empty in comparison.
