I remember that AMD x2 needed some fix to avoid sme temporary hungs with ryzom. Also, if you put affinity to 2 cores, the game goes very bad (play each frame two times, or something similar). I don't kjnow if this is solved, but I remember that ryzom can't work with two cores; witch isn't a problem ...

P.S. I continue to be amazed of how good Ryzom still can be using rather modest resources and a small client. Come think of it, people with 20 gigs or more of a client don't have such a smooth working world ... and that's after 5 years since it was developped and expecting the customer with much ...
