I've been annoyed by a somewhat small issue lately... When I launch the game, the login page of the launcher is defaulting to a Game Resolution other than what my desktop, and my settings in game are set to. For some reason it is always defaulting to 1360x768, rather than the 1680x1050 that I have ...

The other option is to just browse to the directory above your Ryzom directory, right-click on the Ryzom directory, go to the security tab, and change/add rights for Users (or just yourself) and set your permissions to Full Control..

For the time being, the decision has been made to close/suspect the Cho chapter of Pegasus Foundation so we can focus our energy on our primary chapter on Arispotle...
This could change in the future, but for now it was felt that this was the correct direction for us.

It's so nice to see that the outposts are going to be shared, and not almost all sucked up by one or two greedy guilds.... Oh wait.. never mind...

Unfortunately, there already seems to be one guild bent on taking over all of the Outposts.. They have already travelled to other lands than the one where they started and taken over an OP, and I someone thought they had heard that this same group had gone to a third region to take over an OP there ...

I think people are forgetting the point of a free trial. It's not to allow one to play all aspects of a game. It's not to allow them to get to any level. The purpose of a trial is to let players see what a game is all about for free. With Ryzom you can play through the first 21 levels of all skill ...

My biggest concern with the level cap is the same as many others. Level 21 seems to be too low as a cap for Silan.... (I noticed they bumped the cap from 19 to 21 in the patch notes) The answer most people get when they ask when they should move to the mainland usually involves getting their attack ...
