As for ranged combat, it isn't balanced right, thats correct. But I don't think it costs to much at all, when you will be a higher level harvester / crafter its easy to get a full packer of ammo in an hour or 2 - 3, but still the damage isn't what its supposed to be. That was part of his criticism ...

I have to admit, I really like this post, good criticizms of the games biggest weak areas, and good ideas as to how they would be fixed, props for taking the time to type this up!
