Re: Step Two
I had the same problem. Running Ryzom as an Admin in Vista made it work for me.
Re: cats vote
From a long term business perspective they are a horrible idea. Looking forward to the future to of Ryzom it would be prudent to remove them in an effort to lengthen the average subscription duration. While this may cause some accts to be lost in the short term, it is a step towards a better more ...

Re: Technical proposal
Red's idea is spot on imo. Something like this should be a part of the system even as it stands now. This would truly break up the staus quo a bit, keeping things fresher. Another consideration besides just npc attacks could also be kitins as well. These Could be mini defense rounds and short in ...

Re: Technical proposal
1. Switching Guilds becomes an issue for GvG battles where ppl could just join a guild for a battle, then return to their normal guild. This probem is easily overcome with a timer of sorts to keep new recruits from joining any GvG conflict. 2. I am not sure I follow your wording on this... But part ...

Re: Technical proposal
Aye thats a good idea Lex
This is a good option, may not be perfect, but could be tweaked to whatever the best time frame is. On a separate positive note this could effectively also turn some OP's into events of sorts, killing two birds with one stone.

Re: Technical proposal
In regards to "mega guilds", is two mega alliances any better? I agree it could be a problem but there must be ways to avoid this? Maybe battles of this nature could have debatable "terms" and such, for the number of players allowed to participate, length, ect. I think new players/guilds have to ...

Re: Technical proposal
*Looks outside the box* Why couldn't "some" OP's be GvG? As it stands the current implementation of OP's is a bit stale imo. Having multiple methods by which to aquire them would be a nice way to add some much needed content. New guilds of fresh faces have little to no hope to aquire an OP without ...

Re: It's a PvP poll not a flame thread o_o
Voted no. The rewards of outposts have to much of a positive snow ball effect. In the current state of affairs the kami have no chance of tipping the balance anytime soon or in the long term for that matter. More importantly the numbers of the poll indicate so far that more than half think that the ...
