Re: Journal of Jeziellia, Matis

Yrkanis, Majestic Garden of Verdant Heights I've been thinking over the past seasons. I've been thinking what it means to be a homin in these new kingdoms, what it means to be a part of something so much larger than yourself. In all that thinking, and in spite of the wonderful and true family I ...

Re: The New Empire/Ryzom loses a dear friend

Oh no.

Words fail right now. I adored Dever and what he brought to Ryzom. My thoughts go out to his family and "real life" friends, as well as his Atys family, of which I think we were all a part.

Journal of Jeziellia, Matis

Yrkanis, Majestic Garden of Verdant Heights It's been a lovely day. Spring is slowly easing its way toward Summer, and the flower blooms have never smelled more wonderful. There's a seemingly larger family of yubos living north west of the Green Seed camp. I wasn't certain if this cycle's litters ...

Re: New content / Old content

I havent timed it, but feel its about as long to run from Yrk or TP to KoD then run from there. As a neutral, I have found it worthwhile to get neutral fame with the Ancient Dryads, so I have another possible hawker, and a place to run from Vispa (after all, respawning will cost me another 10 ...

Journal of Jeziellia, Matis

Yrkanis, Majestic Garden of Verdant Heights Sometimes, I don't know what I'm doing or what I want. This certainly isn't the life I imagined when I left the Antanas settlement to come to the new kingdoms. I can't say with clarity exactly what I had imagined, but I can say it wasn't this. What is ...

Re: Permadeath in an event

Interesting. In the environments I've roleplayed in (much less than you ofcourse) that would be considered extremely rude of the player running the show. Me making and mastering a Ring scenario, inviting you and a few other players in, and then suddenly confronting Jezi with a situation where she ...

Re: New content / Old content

I actually used to dig in Heretic's Hovel. To avoid Wyac, mostly. I'd go in through the Kami teleporter, and then into the area outside of that scary Gibbai's lair. There were quite a few useful nodes in there, though not everything useful, I'm afraid. Nope, I didn't travel it much - it's unhealthy ...

Re: Permadeath in an event

I play my character completely IC. I would not create an alt to participate in something where there was the chance of permadeath. Also, it would be up to Jeziellia, as the character, to choose what to do if the chance of her permanently dying was involved. This whole goo-infused thing? Interesting ...

Re: More Startling News

Thank you, Keiko, for this transcription. ...goo infused... ----- OOC: Imo the choice of trying to Rp an event announcer as if they are a character is a poor choice. Not necessarily. True, it can be done 'poorly'. As a whole though, I disagree on principle, if only because... if you are going to run ...
